Features

The Mary Kay Lash Intensity^® Mascara gives lashes wow-volume and irresistible length. The specially designed, asymmetrical brush makes lashes appear multiplied for a look that lasts all day and doesn't smudge. Plus: Highly effective pigments, rich in minerals, envelop each lash in perfect black.

Effect

• For Volume: The short bristles are arranged as a "volume zone" and serve as a product reservoir. Another row without bristles allows for additional product absorption. This ensures the right amount is dispensed at the lash line with each application to build volume.
• For Length: The longer bristles in the "comb zone" give intense attention to each individual lash. The precisely placed bristles distribute the mascara along the lashes, coating them from root to tip.

Application

• Place the brush at the lash line and pull along the lashes to the tips with small "wiggling" movements – this helps to separate the lashes and make them look longer and more voluminous.
• In the second step, rotate the brush 180 degrees upwards while applying mascara to utilize the effect of the different zones.
• If applying multiple coats of mascara, do not switch back and forth between eyes, so the mascara on the lashes does not dry out in the meantime – as this will make them clump more easily.

Pro Tips:

• Curl lashes with an eyelash curler to open up the eye and make lashes more visible – preferably before applying mascara, so that lashes don't stick to the curler and break. To curl after applying mascara, first let the mascara dry completely.
• Two or more light coats instead of one thick coat create a more natural look.
• Avoid "pumping" the brush into the tube – this only lets more air in and the product dries out faster. Instead, slowly pull the brush out of the tube and repeat for another coat.
